Staff Bios


Shawn Hutcheon - Shawn has coached at all levels of hockey from mite to minor pro, and is entering his fifth year as a skills instructor for High End Hockey.  Prior to working with HEH, he worked as a private skills coach for numerous NHL players including Bobby Robins and Scott Gomez.  Shawn was an assistant coach for the 2012-13 USAH Tier 1 National Championship Neponset River Rats 18U team. 

Aside from coaching hundreds of current and former professional and collegiate players, Shawn is in his fifth year covering the Boston Bruins as the Boston Correspondent for The Fourth Period Magazine. He also covers UMass Lowell Men’s Hockey for The Lowell Sun and NCAA hockey for ESPN New Hampshire.

Matt Baldino - This will be Coach Baldino's third summer as a skills instructor after six years of training with HEH and will be on the ice this summer with the College, Elite and High School groups.  Matt graduated from Lawrence Academy (Groton, MA) in 2012 where he helped the Spartans win their first New England Prep School Championship. After LA, Matt went to Norwich University (Norwich, VT) for the 2012-13 season. Matt left the school after his freshman season and played the 2013-14 season with the Boston Bandits of the EHL.  Following a three year career at UMass Dartmouth, where he served as captain his senior year, Coach Baldino signed with the Berlin River Drivers of the Federal Hockey League.  This coming season, Matt has signed with the Birmingham Bulls of the Southern Professional Hockey League.  Matt spent three seasons playing Midget hockey for HEH owner, Jon Hutcheon.
